                           Several Production Processes of PMMA Acrylic Sheet

  Acrylic, also known as specially treated plexiglass, is a replacement product of plexiglass. Lighting made of acrylic has good light transmission performance, rich colors, beautiful appearance and smoothness, can give consideration to both day and night effects, and has a long service life.  

  The production method of acrylic plate mainly includes casting molding, injection molding, extrusion molding and thermoforming. There are four flowers in bloom, one for each watch. Here are four different production techniques.  

Casting molding production method 

  Casting Method-Casting requires the use of moulds, and the complexity of texture, shape and structure of processed products is very high, so the production scale is suitable for small batch production. The product produced by the casting method has high toughness and strength, and also has good decoration. Therefore, the casting method is often used in industries such as craft production and decoration. The cast product needs post-treatment after treatment, and then the treatment conditions are incubated at 60for 2 hours and 120 for 2 hours.

Extrusion molding method   

 Poly (methyl propyl methacrylate) can also be prepared by extrusion molding. Organic glass plates, rods, tubes, sheets and the like can be prepared by using particles prepared by suspension polymerization. However, the prepared profiles, especially the plates, are not as good as cast profiles. Due to the small molecular weight of polymers, especially for pipes and other casting molds. Profile that is difficult to manufacture. Extrusion can be carried out by a single-stage or double-stage exhaust extruder with a screw length-diameter ratio of 20-25. Squeeze to achieve large-scale, mass production. The reason is that the extrusion method can be fully automated. Its advantages are inflexible processing, and the process flow and product model are not easy to change.

Injection molding production method

  Injection molding uses granular pellets that are formed on a common plunger or screw injection molding machine. Typical process conditions for injection molding: the injection molded products also need to eliminate internal stress. during processing, the processing time depends on the thickness of the products and generally takes about 4 hours in a hot air circulation oven at 70-80 ℃.
